I meant to upload these awhile ago, but alas, well, I didn’t. I’ve said before how much I love seeing different interpretations in fashion editorials. This here comes from Dear Creatures‘ Spring 2010 catalogue. Can you guess what film inspired it? I made these funny images to try and emphasise a point about the film.

Did you guess it? Dear Creatures’ Spring 2010 collection was influenced by none other than Jacques Demy‘s film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. I love how this editorial picked up on the film’s ingenuity of matching one’s outfit to the wallpaper.
